List your fair
Free, and it stays free. Send us the details and we will put up a page for your venue, then keep it checked.
What you get
- A page that stays put. A Facebook post is gone from people's feeds in a day. A venue page here keeps working, and it turns up when somebody searches for a car boot sale in your county.
- Your details, not ours. Your phone number, your Facebook page, your website. We send people to you.
- Structured data. Your dates get published in the format search engines read, which almost nothing else in this line of business in Ireland currently does.
- A pitch price where sellers will see it. Sellers plan the week before. They are the ones searching.
What we need
The more of this you can give us, the better the page. The first five are the ones we cannot do without.
- The name of the fair and the venue.
- The address and county, and the Eircode if you have one.
- Which days it runs. Say it however it actually works: every Sunday, the first and third Sunday of the month, Saturdays from April to September, or a list of dates.
- Opening and closing times.
- A link we can check it against, usually your Facebook page.
- Admission for buyers, and pitch price for sellers.
- Indoor, outdoor or both, and what the parking is like.
That opens a message with the questions already in it. If your device has no mail app, just write to contact@fairs.ie.
Keeping it right
Every listing shows the date it was last checked. When something changes, send us a line and we will update it and reset that date. If a listing goes a long time without being confirmed, we mark it rather than quietly leaving it up as though nothing has happened.
If you call one off
Weather cancellations are the thing readers get caught by most. If you let us know, we will mark the listing. We cannot promise to catch every one, so the venue page always tells readers to check with you before travelling a distance.
