Privacy
Short version: Google Analytics counts visits, there is no advertising and no other tracking on this site, and nothing else you do here is sent anywhere.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people actually read. It sets cookies in your browser and records the pages you view, a rough location worked out from your IP address, and what kind of device and browser you are on. It is not given your name, your address or anything else that says who you are.
Google processes that data on our behalf, and their policy is at policies.google.com . If you would rather not be counted, Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com switches Google Analytics off on every site you visit.
What is stored on your device
If you pick a county, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so you do not have to pick it again. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The only cookies are the Google Analytics ones described above.
What is not collected
No advertising scripts, no social media pixels, no fingerprinting. Google Analytics tells us how many of you there are. It does not tell us who you are, and neither does anything else here.
Things loaded from elsewhere
Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, and they load only when you scroll to a map. When they load, OpenStreetMap's servers see your IP address, as they would for any image on any website. Their policy is at osmfoundation.org .
Links out to organisers' own sites and Facebook pages are ordinary links. Once you follow one, you are on their site and their rules apply.
If you write to us, we keep the email so we can act on it and reply. We do not add anyone to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs.
