The lane and yard around the medieval St Nicholas' Collegiate Church in the middle of Galway, where a market has traded for centuries. Stalls run up both sides of the church under awnings and gazebos, completely in the open. It is a mix of vegetable and flower growers, fish, bread, hot food from around the world, and a large run of arts and crafts.
