The community park and centre in Oughterard, the Connemara village on the western shore of Lough Corrib. The show rings for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep and dogs are laid out on the grass, with the domestic arts, baking and craft classes and the trade stands under cover, and space set aside for children's entertainment.
